If it is relevant to work, yes. For example, if you are to be truck driver or equipment operator, the employer may ask about conditions, such as diabetes, which could (if you did not monitor/treat it properly) lead to you passing out while driving or using dangerous machines. Or if you are to work with vulnerable populations (young children; the elderly; people who are ill or who have compromised immune systems), the employer could ask about whether you have certain diseases which would be dangerous to them or whether you have all vacinatons. If it is relevant to the job, they can inquire.
