Does this mandate violate the terms of any applicable employment ocntract or uinon/collective bargaining agreement? If not, then as an "at will" worker, your company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit (absent legally actionable discrimination). Accordingly, if you do not comply with this requirement you can be terminated (or suspended or otherwise disciplined), with or without notice.
