Can an employer question me about a review I wrote about them?
I inadvertantly wrote a negative review on Indeed regarding my current employer
thinking it was a confidential part of my profile. This became a public review
and my employer called me in to question be about it. Is this ok?

Yes, this is permissable unless its doing so violates the terms of an employment contract or union agreement. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will" which means that a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). Accordingly, you can be disciplined for such a post possibly up to suspension or even termination.
