Can an estate of a deceased person be listed as the owner on a deed and, if so, what form of ownership?

I remember hearing of a person’s estate handling legal issues of a deceased person, so does this mean it can also be listed as the owner of the deed? Would it be sole ownership?

An estate can be listed (usually in trust form) and you would need to transfer such property to the trust in the Schedule portion of the trust document. A well-versed and experienced estates planning attorney can help you draw this together and aid in the transfer. It would be ownership and the trustee would be listed along with the trust.
