Can employer keep your vacation pay if you are fired?
I was let go after 10 years of employment with no wrong doing on my half. The employer kept my vacaion pay and told me that in our state they don’t have to pay it to me; it was accured vacation pay of about 4 weeks. Can I sue in small claim to recover?

Under the laws of all states in this country accrued and vested vacation pay is due an employee immediately upon his or her termination by the employer. You are entitled to the vacation pay that you are writing about.
