Can i ask for a third continuance?
I was arrested and charged of harassment
violation of protective order and
obstruction of justice. This is third
time for continuance due to lack of
ability to pay lawyer. This is due to
pay issues because of jail. How would I
approach this issue?

You can ask, but there is no right to the continuance--it is up to the court (i.e. within the court's discretion). All you can do is present the situation as reasonably and sympathetically--while also being 100% honest--as possible: that being jailed has caused you to have financial issues. It helps to be able to suggest a not-too-distant date by which you will be able to proceed (i.e. could afford an attorney).
