If there is any credible reason to think that the marijuana was yours (including potentially that your friend, to try to reduce his own charges or punishment, tries to claim that he was holding the marijuana for you, that you had stashed your marijuana on him, that you had sold him the marijuana, etc.), then you could be charged to.
