If you do not have a written employment contract limiting the reasons you can be fired, you are an employee at will. An employee at will may be fired at any time, for any reason, even false or incorrect reasons, or even for no reason at all. So proving that the reason was false would not help you unless you have an employment contract; you could still be fired.
