Can I get a divorce for little to no cost if there is a child involved?

My husband has recently started doing drugs and refuses to stop. He has put me and our child in danger. I would like to separate from him, but I feel a divorce is necessary. I am a stay-at-home mom and have no way to pay for an attorney. I refuse to subject our infant to his behavior any longer. He doesn’t care if he is under the influence while he is around our baby. Is there a way he can he be drug tested before he is allowed to see her?

I am so sorry for your situation.  Please go and find either a legal aid attorney or legal services for women type center to help you with this.  Divorcing, ig your hsuabdn refuses to cooperate, can be very costly.  Most states allow you to apply for a waiver of fees depending on your income.  There will be a lot of paperwork with the baby.  You want her to be safe, I understand.  So maybe supervised vistiation could be an option.  How the courts can force him to be drug tested will depend on your laws in Georgia and an attorney there is the best person to let you know about that. Right now you need to be afe and think of you and your daughter.  So get help.  Good luck.
