The right to custody won't be automatic, but if neither parent is emotionally mature enough to be a parent to the child, then you would have a good chance of getting custody of your grandchild. If they can demonstrate an ability to provide and care for their child, then no, you would not be granted custody. The final decision will turn on what is in the best interest of the child.
