Can I go after my ex for lying on his financial statement?

When we filed for divorce, we decided to do taxes together, but I basesd that
decision on his finanical statement which he lied on in three separate places.
Now, if I do my taxes with him, he will be screwing me. I am wondering what I can
do to protect myself without being in contempt of court?

I am confused.  You say here that he is your "ex".  Why, then would you be filing taxes with him?  If he purjured himself on taxes filed when you were married you may have an "innocent spouse" defense.  Wait for legal aid to call.  Good luck.
