The fact is that there really isn't anything that you can do. In an "at will" employment relationship a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. This means that a worker can be disciplined, including suspension and even termination, for any reason or no reason at all. That is unless their treatment was the result of some form of legally actionable discrimination or violated the terms of a union agreement/employment contract.
