Can I represent my wife in family court due to medical reasons?
My wife has a tramatic brain injury and can function every day but doesn’t always understand everything. We are unable to afford a lawyer but I make too much money for a court appointed lawyer. If I recieve a letter from her doctor stating that she doesn’t always comprehend everything, would I be able to represent my wife in family court?

Yes you can represent her interests but not with a letter from her doctor. And it does not sound as if she would be able to give you a power of attorney so I think that you need to be appointed as her guardian and conservator. But with out knowing more about the situation at hand - why does she need to appear in family court? - it is hard to give guidance here. Good luck.
