Can I sue my employer for neglecting a injury that happened during work?

A metal spring stabbed my palm of my hand. It happened yesterday and it still bleeds and it’s swollen and hurts. I’ve shown it to my employer several times but they have taken no action.

It is unclear what action you expect your employer to take. An employer is not your parent or legal guardian--it is not their obligation to send you to a doctor or emergency room. If you hurt your hand, you should seek medical attention; your employer is not liable, or financially responsible, if you choose not to or otherwise fail to do so. It is possible that later, you may be able to claim for worker's compensation for the injury itself; however, you will have no claim for any worsening of the injury due to your own failure to seek medical care. Therefore the first thing to do is to get your hand looked at; then consider whether or not to seek worker's compensation.
