Can child support be less than state guidelines?
We are doing an uncontested divorce (or trying to-it’s very complicated). My wife and I would like me to have a nicer home than pay more child support.

It is entirely possible that if the parties in a marital dissolution agree that monthly child support for the children will be less than county and state guidelines then the court will order that such payments will be the amount that the parties to the dissolution agree.
I suggest that before any written agreement is signed and order made as to such that you may wish to consult with a family law attorney on the subject.
