Can my boss say I have to take a lunch
I work for meijer and they are now saying
we have to take a lunch and be here 8
and a half hours. We were doing 8 hrs
without a lunch. Can they do this??

Whether or not you can skip lunch is up to your employer. Unless doing so is permitted the terms of a union agreement or employment contract. Also, your treatment must not constitute any form of legally actionable discrimination. Otherwise, a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. This includes requiring a worker to take a lunch break. The fact is that having employees take breaks may reduce errors and/or injuries. As an "at will" worker, you can comply with this change, complain and risk termination, or quit.
