No, when there is a named beneficiary in a life insurance policy, the money goes to that beneficiary, regardless of who else will inherit other assets from the deceased, either under a  will (if there is one) or by the rules of intestate succession (no will). When a beneficiary is named, the insurance proceeds do not become part of or pass through the estate, and are not distributed with the rest of the estate.
