Can my employer fire me for not wanting their insurance?
My employer said that if choose to not have insurance that I could be fired? Is that true?

This is absolutely not true. You need to talk to your state's labor department and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It could be an issue of contract and if this is not a large company, the rate each gets is dependant upon the hope all employees are on the company's insurance plan.
