Can my landlord collect rent on my apartment after we received a notice of seizure for the apartment complex?
We came home to a notice of seizure in March stating that the apartment complex was seized by the bank in February and going to a public sale on April 24th. The landlord stated that the sale is not final and we have continue paying her rent in April or she will evict us? Can she legally collect rent and/or evict anyone from the property?

Until the public sale, when someone else buys the complex and takes title, the current owner is still the owner. Being the owner, they are still your landlord: you still owe them rent, and you can be evicted by them.
After the sale, they will not be your landlord: don't pay them anything after that. Instead, hold your rent so you have it available and wait for new owner/landlord to contact you.
