Can my landlord sue me if she loses a sale on the house becauseI can’t move out in time?
unI had a verbal 6 month lease on a rental house. My landlord is breaking this lease because she got an offer from someone to purchase the house. She wants me out by the 1st but I cannot move til the 6th. Can she sue me if the prospective buyer’s back out?

There is always the possibility that you landlord can sue you for a failed sale of the rental that you occupy. However, under the laws of all states in this country, the proper measure of damages that legally could be asserted against you would not be the lost profit from the sale if it did not go through.
Rather, the damages would only be any unpaid rent under your verbal oral agreement. I see your landlord attempting to bully you.
