Can someone other than myself remove my last payroll check from the premises?

Just asking because I did quit without notice and I feel that this is an action that is
going to be taken.

Legally, your employer must pay you your last check according to the the time limits as provided by state law. That having been said, your former employer may have a policy regarding this. It may have a special form and/or require that you speak directly to a supervisor, HR, etc. After all, they can't just hand out your check to anyone who asks for it. If you do not receive your check, you can contact your state's department of labor for further advice.
