Can you go to court to settle a warrant that you have in another state?
My boyfriend was living in VA and got some traffic tickets. He paid them off but never appeared in court because he moved to TX. Now he has a warrant out for his arrest in VA. His job will not grant him a badge until he settles this in court. Does he have to fly back to VA or can he settle this in a TX court?

Unfortunately, a Texas court has no power or "jurisdication" over a warrant issued by the state of Virginia: they are different court sytems, different governments, operate under different sources of power or authority, and have different laws. Each state's courts only has power over its own warrants; he will have to go to VA.
