car loan in my name
I have a car loan in my name. My ex girfriend (now) pays the payments. She has been late causing my credit to go down. She agreed that if she missed payments or was late that she would give up the car. The registration is in her name. Who has legal right to the car?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. Who has title to the car? if you never transfered the title but simply let your ex have the car as long as she made payments, then the car is your. I suggest taking the car back before it is repossed and find out a way to negotiate with the finance company to get back on schedule making payments.
