Chapter 13 and a missed repayment plan
I had filed a Chapter 13 to prevent a foreclosure from completion. I needed to change it to a Ch. 7 and missed the repayment plan. I got a letter of dismissal, what can I do?

Oh boy....what happened? Was it an excusable reason you missed the payment?
Well, you need to immediately consult and/or hire a bankruptcy attorney in California to determine a) if the payment can be made now and allow the court/trustee to withdraw the letter of dismissal and b) help you with transferring it to a Chapter 7.
Try www.attorneypages.com and then check his or her disciplinary record at the California State Bar under attorney search at www.calbar.ca.gov.
