Could I get in trouble by knowingly allowing an illegal alien be my roommate?
I am a naturalized US citizen. The alien in question is not a criminal, unless you count driving without a license which he went to court and paid a fine for. And would anyone be actively looking for him under this circumstances. Whether or not he has removal order on him, I do not know.

What is your question specifically? DO you have a duty to report someone you believe may be an undocumented alien? NO, you do not have such a duty. You do not need to report anything because you have no actual knowledge of what his situation is.
