Do all people listed on a lease agreement have to be in court for an eviction hearing?
My wife and I rent and are going to court tomorrow to fight an eviction. My mom is also listed as a co-signer on our lease but does not reside w us or pay any portion of the rent. Does she need to be in court for the first eviction hearing with us?

If your mother is simply the co-signer under the lease that you have written about and is not a named tenant under the lease which is the subject of the eviction proceeding, there is no basis legally of factually for her to attend the eviction hearing unless she is named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
