my wife has more money then me and a job. what are my obligation as for is alimony if I lose my job?

Alimony is not a given anymore in NY and it is not gender biased (meaning either party can pay or receive it). It sounds, though, like you are in the midst of things and it has already been ordered. If you lose your job and can not pay it you need to make a motion to reduce or get rid of it. I strongly suggest legal help. Good luck.
