The person I reported this to told me to ‘be the bigger person’
I have spoken several times to management about th8s persons unprofessional
agrressive behavior.

You may be able to press charges against the co-worker for assault (in many states, assault includes credible threats as well as actual violence). You do not have any case against your employer, however: the employer is not the police, and is not obligated to take action about employee threats.
