If you are going to be applying for adjustment of residence on the basis of marriage, you have to first submit that application, along with the immgirant visa petition and with those, you can apply for a work authorization document. You cannot apply for the work authorization by itself since it is an application that depends on the the adjustment of status application having been filed simultaneously or beforehand.
