Do I have to give back the gifts that my ex-boyfriend gave me?

Every time we break up, which happens very often, my boyfriend demands that I give back the gifts he has given me over the 5 years we have been together. He threatens to take me to court and sue me. Can he legally force me to give hback what he has given me?

Under the laws of all states in this country is that once a gift is given by the giver to a third person the person receiving the gift is entitled to keep it and do whatever he or she wants to do with it. From what you have written you are under no legal obligation to return any gift given you by your former boyfriend.
