Do my kids have to visit their dad if they don’t want to?
My ex has lost his home and lives with his mother. The kids (ages 8, 11 and 16)have no space of their own in the house and sleep on couches. They are miserable when they are there and he will not let them leave to be with friends or have friends over.

If your order regarding custody and visitiation states that they are to go then they have to go. However, if conditions have changed and they have really no place to sleep you may want to consdier going back to court to modify the order with no over night visitation until such time as he has a place of his own and they have space of their own. That is what you need to rely on. The complaint with him being strict with their friends will get you no where with a judge. Good luck.
