Do you get to keep your personal stuff if your house is foreclosed on?
And what about the appliances in the house? Also, how long do you have to you have to move?

Yes, personal items can indeed be taken from the house. Do not leave them behind becuase they can be seized or stored and you charged storage fees. But items that are considered to be what is called "fixtures" can not be. They are a part of the house. The are as follows:
appliances, cabinets, counter tops, light fixtures - anything "affixed" to the home. As for moving, it can take a long time for the bank to actually foreclose but I would look to start a new life. Please seek help about the deficiency that may exist. Good luck.
