An employer does not need to pay you for any days you did not work--whether due to sickness or otherwise--unless and only to the extent you used any sick days you had for the absence. If you used sick time, you should be paid in accordance with your company's normal sick time/sick days policy (which is presumably to pay you at your regular daily rate); however again, if you did not work and did not have or use sick days, they do not need to pay you for that time.
