Does shoplifting affects green card process?

I got caught shoplifting a consealer at
walmart worth 7.47. I was taken into
security room. My details were taken
and photo. I am waiting for my schedule
appointment for Green Card interview. I
have received a letter of 300 fine.
What are the consequences of this on my
GC applicatio process? Will i habe a
clear record of this Paying the 300
dollar fine? Please give me legal
advice.

You may have to disclose it on the application for the green card or at the time of the interview if you have been fingerprinted or otherwise charged with an offense and there is a police report and/or court record of the proceedings.
