What will happen in court regarding my DV charge?
I was arrested from my house on domestic dispute with my 27 year old daughter who does not live home; I had punched a hole in my bedroom wall. They arrested me but never read me my rights and then booked, fingerprinted and took pictures. I was kept me there until early morning, about 6 hours. Then let me go and said I have a court date next month . What should I expect?

I am sure you are charged with simple assault under the domestic violence statute. The penalty could be up to 6 months jail. I doubt you would get jail unless there is a history but you may want to hire an attorney to represent you.
You do not want to have a criminal record over this.
I handle these cases across the state of NJ except in Ocean County where I prosecute.
