If the posted hours that I was hired to work were different than the ones that I actually work, is that legal?

My employer’s job posting stated,

A job posting is not binding. Therefore, unless you have an employment contract or union agreement that guarantees your schedule, you are out of luck. The fact is that most employment is "at will". This means that, absent actionable discriminaton, a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. For your part, you can either accept your scheduled hours, complain but risk termination, or quit.
