You may remove appliances or cabinets that have not been attached to the home--for example, a countertop microwave oven, blender, or coffee maker; standalone book shelves or display cabinets. However, anything attached to or installed into the home is considered part of the home, and if you remove it, you could potentially face liabilty. This includes, for example kitchen cabinets, a stove, a dishwasher, a range hood or a microwave built into a range hood or kitchen cabinetry.
Basically, if you were buying a home and you would have expected the seller to leave it, do not remove it.
