A BOAT MECANIC WAS WORKING ON MY BOAT. I PAID HI 4,000, WHENIWENT TO PICK IOT UP 5,000 WAS MISSING.HE HAS PROMISED TO FIX IT FOR A YEAR. WHEN I INSPECTED THE BOAT THESE ITEMS WERE MISSING WITH NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHERE THEY WENT. WHAT SHOULD I DO IS THIS LARANCY?

It may be larceny, but the problem is can you prove that the mechanic was the only one to have access to the boat? Someone else could have gone on your boat and taken your property.
