If he was awarded it after a trial, it will be a public record: look it up on the court's website and/or go to the appropriate court house, go to the clerk's office, and ask about it.
If it was a settlement, it is likely not public. (Most settlements are confidential.) You would have to subpoena the information, and might have to overcome objections to its release; an attorney can help you with this.
