I am the eldest daughter,my half sister is married and they live in her house. they told me mom only left me one trhousand dollsrs,which came out of my step dads acct. he has been dead for quite afew years. my sister wont give me a copy of certificate or anything. pla help thank you

To get a copy of the death certificate you need to contact the Office of Vital Records; here's a link with the information: http://www.cdph.ca.gov/certlic/birthdeathmar/Pages/ContactUs.aspx.
