How can I protect my house from a on-going lawsuit?
I bought a house over 2 years ago. The house is in my name and my parents are co-signers. I am getting married in 3 months and my fiance is being sued. Is there something I can do to protect the house once we are married? Or since the house is not in his name is it safe once we are married?

Theoretically the house is separate proeprty and if it is not in his name then a creditor can not attach it should there be a judgement against him. But I would seek help from an attorney about the possibility of a pre nup given that your parents are also involved here. It protects their interest as well. Good luck.
