How do I get wages I am owed?
The owner/manager of a wine bar I worked for has not paid for my employment from Feb thru May of this year. I resigned in May. As of today, I still have not received payment and she has not responded to my contacts regarding the paychecks owed. Please advise what my rights are and what steps I should take to resolve this matter.

Contact the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division at http://www.dol.gov/esa/whd/
or Florida's state labor department at http://www.floridajobs.org/. They should be able to advise you on how to make a complaint with them so that they can help you get all your pay that you are entitled to.
