I am so sorry for your loss. I am assuming that you mean a small estate affidavit needs to be prepared for the estate, correct? I am going to give you a link to a form that is used in one of the counties in Texas. Although it may not be for your county it will show the necessary information that must be included. Also, if everything was jointly held it passed to you automatically at your spouses death so just check you need to do this. Good luck.
