How does being in the process of a divorce change beneficiaries?
When my parents got their life insurance policies they named each other primary beneficiaries and me and my siblings secondary beneficiaries. For the past year my parents have been in the process of a divorce and my mother even changed her will excluding my dad from it. but never changed the primary beneficiaries with the life insurance company. She had recently passed. Can I get her life insurance?

I am so sorry for your loss. If your parents were not divorced at the time of your Mother's death then your Father may still be entitled to the proceeds and to inherit under the law. Was there an agreement as to the distribution of the property? Did it mention the life insurance polciy specifically? If it did not then under Arkansas law the proceeds would still go to your Dad. Please seek legal help. Good luck.
