How long can they hold you on a blue warrant when the charges are not going to be prosecuted?

The county chose not to prosecute for his 2nd DWI. The parole board cancelled revocation hearing. They said that there were pending charges because it was his 3rd (it was his second.) How long can they hold him without a revocation hearing? Can he be charged for 3rd if he already paid probation with Smart Start for 9 months (and it was 2nd)? How does he get out?

I'm not clear as to all of the facts of the case here. You need to contact a lawyer.  There was apparently an error is citing this has his third, and not second, DWI.  Either way, he needs to consult with an attorney about getting released.
