You hail from Illinois, correct? Although I can surely understand how you would wish to get the tenant out asap, the reality is that it can take anywhere from two and a half to three months depending on the facts of the case and longer should the tenant object to the eviction. It all has to do with filing time frames and service of Orders of Possession by Sheriffs (start to finish). Please speak with an attorney there for a better idea considering thee facts of your case.
