Good question. Assuming the landlord is concerned about a health issue with respect to a rental that he or she owns, the landlord needs to give immediate verbal and written notice to a tenant that due to health concerns the tenant needs to immediately vacate the rented unit. Remaining on the unit could cause health issues and such should be stated in the notice to vacate.
