How many people can legally live in a single family, 3 bedroom house?
Our HOA is giving us discrepancies about the number of people who live in this house, although it was purchased with 2 names on the mortgage and 2 families live here. There is nothing in there governing documents that describes what a “single family” is and how many tenants can live in a single home in colorado. Is there anything that can be done to help the situation?

The best way to ascertain the number of people who legally can reside in a three bedroom home in the community that you are writing about is to contact the "zoning department" of the town/county where you reside and have your question answered. Different townships have different rules concerning the number of people who can legally reside in a given home.
