How many times can a collection agency file a suit against an individual?
If a collection agency has filed a suit against a individual and the collection agency representative did not show up for the court hearing do they have the right to file again?

If the court matter that you are writing baout was dismissed with prejudice then the lawsuit against the person is over and done with and cannot be re-filed under the law. If the case was dismissed without prejudice, the lawsuit can be refiled subject to a possible bar by the applicable statute of limitations.
