If you can find the at-fault driver, you can sue him or her--but obviously, you cannot do this without knowing their identity.
You can submit a claim to your own insurer, if you have the applicable insurance (e.g. collision coverage for your car damage).
Without the relevant insurance or being able to find and sue the at-fault driver, however, there is no way for you to get compensation.
